Dr. Yassir is passionate about the treatment of clubfoot with the Ponseti Method.  He first learned the method while taking his fellowship at The Children's Hospital of San Diego.  Feeling that he still had much to learn, after his first week in practice, he visited Dr. Ponseti to further improve his technique.  Two years later, he invited Dr. Ponseti to Boston to review the patients he had cared for.  Happy with what he saw, Dr. Ponseti began referring patients from all over the East Coast and Caribbean to Dr. Yassir for care.  12 years ago, Dr. Yassir brought that same experience to Detroit, at the Children's Hospital of Michigan.  If you or someone you know has a child with clubfoot, please contact our offices to get your treatment started today.
